Privacy policy
Last updated 7 November 2026
This policy explains what information Octaneo collects through octaneo.com, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@octaneo.com.
Octaneo is operated by ACEFINA LLC, Leland, North Carolina, USA. For anything about your data, email hello@octaneo.com.
What we collect
When you request a free growth audit or write to us, we collect what you send: your website address, your email address, the services you ticked and anything you write in your message.
When you browse the site we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to count page views and see which pages are useful. Umami runs on our own server, does not use cookies and does not store your IP address. It records the page you view, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your approximate country.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. Turnstile reads signals from your browser for that check only and does not see what you type in the form.
How we use it
We use the details you send only to prepare your audit, reply to you and, if you choose to work with us, to deliver that work. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run this site and our email: Cloudflare for hosting, security and storing the audit requests you send, and Zoho for email, including Zoho ZeptoMail, which delivers the notice of each request to our team. Each processes data on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms. We share information with others only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If we do not start working together, we delete your audit request and our emails about it 6 months after our last message. If we do work together, we keep them for as long as the work lasts and as long as the law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it or stop using it. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. Email hello@octaneo.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
