Automated flows
Flows are emails that send themselves when someone does something: signs up, leaves a cart, buys or goes quiet. Once they are set up, they keep working every day without anyone pressing send. This is where we start for most accounts.
- Welcome
- A short series for new subscribers that introduces your brand, answers the questions that stop a first purchase and makes a clear first offer.
- Abandoned cart and browse
- Reminders for shoppers who added something to their cart or viewed a product and left. We time them, write them and test whether a discount is needed at all.
- Post-purchase
- Order follow-ups that set expectations, help customers get the most from what they bought, ask for a review and suggest a sensible next purchase.
- Win-back
- Emails for customers who have not bought in a while, with a reason to come back. People who still do not engage are moved off the main list to protect deliverability.
- B2B nurture
- Sequences for leads who downloaded a guide, attended a webinar or started a trial. Each email answers one question buyers have at that stage and points to a booked call or demo.
How it works
Email follows the same five steps as every Octaneo service, scoped to your list and platform.
- Audit
- With read-only access you grant, we review your platform, flows, recent campaigns, list health and sender setup. You get a written list of missing flows, deliverability problems and the fastest gains.
- Plan
- We set out which flows to build first, how often to send campaigns, how to segment the list and which numbers count as success. You approve it before anything goes live.
- Launch
- Tracking and sender authentication come first. Then we write, design and switch on the flows in the plan, inside the platform account you own.
- Test and optimize
- We test subject lines, timing, offers and content, and rewrite emails that get opened but not clicked.
- Report
- Each month you get a plain-English report on what we sent, what it earned and what we will change next.
Campaigns and newsletters
Campaigns are the emails you send to your list on a schedule: launches, offers, stories, guides and company news. We plan them a month ahead around your calendar, write and design each one, and send it to the segments most likely to care.
For B2B teams, a regular newsletter keeps you in front of leads who are not ready to buy yet. We make it useful enough that people read it and keep it focused on one or two clear actions.
List growth and segmentation
A list grows from visitors you already have. We add sign-up forms and pop-ups that offer something worth the address, such as a guide, a first-order offer or early access, and connect your checkout, CRM and lead forms so every contact lands in the right place.
Then we split the list by what people do: buyers and non-buyers, recent and lapsed customers, product interests, deal stage. Each segment gets emails that fit where it is, which keeps engagement up and unsubscribes down.
Deliverability: SPF, DKIM and DMARC, warm-up and list hygiene
An email only earns money if it reaches the inbox. Since February 2024, Gmail and Yahoo have required bulk senders to authenticate their mail with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, so we set these up on your sending domain and check that they pass.
New domains and new platforms need warming up. We start by sending to your most engaged contacts and raise volume step by step, so mailbox providers learn to trust you.
We keep the list clean by removing hard bounces, suppressing long-inactive contacts and making unsubscribing easy. A smaller list that opens your emails does better than a large one that ignores them.
Platforms: Klaviyo, Mailchimp and HubSpot
Klaviyo suits online stores, especially on Shopify, because it reads order and browsing data and uses it in flows and segments. Mailchimp suits smaller lists and simpler needs. HubSpot suits B2B teams that want email, CRM and deal stages in one place.
If you already use one of these, we work inside it. If you are choosing, we recommend one in the plan based on your store or CRM, your list size and who will run it day to day. The account stays in your name either way.
Email marketing agency pricing
The cost depends on how many flows you need, how often you send campaigns and how much design and writing each email takes. We don't sell fixed packages yet. After the free audit we send a written plan, and the price for the work is in it.
