What PPC management includes
PPC management covers everything between your budget and the leads it buys. These are the parts we run for you.
- Conversion tracking
- Before any budget is scaled, we check that every form fill, call, booking and purchase is recorded in the ad platforms and in GA4. Without this, an account can only be judged on clicks.
- Campaign build
- We structure campaigns around what you sell and who buys it, with clear names, sensible budgets and negative keywords that keep spend away from searches that will never convert.
- Ad copy and creative tests
- We write the ads and brief or produce the images and video. New versions go live against the current best performer each week, and the winner keeps the budget.
- Audiences
- We build audiences from your customer lists, site visitors and the people most like them, and we exclude existing customers where you only want new ones.
- Budget pacing
- We check spend against the monthly budget so it is not used up early or left unspent, and we move money between campaigns and platforms as results come in.
How it works
Paid ads follow the same five steps as every Octaneo service, scoped to your ad accounts.
- Audit
- With read-only access you grant, we review your current ad accounts, tracking and landing pages, plus the ads your competitors run. You get a written list of what is wasting spend and where the fastest gains are.
- Plan
- We set out which platforms to run first, how the budget splits between them and which cost per lead or return on ad spend counts as success. You approve it before anything goes live.
- Launch
- Tracking gets fixed first. Then we build and launch the campaigns in the plan, inside ad accounts you own.
- Test and optimize
- Each week we pause weak ads and keywords, test new creative and shift budget toward the campaigns that bring in leads and sales.
- Report
- Each month you get a plain-English report on what we spent, what it brought in and what we will change next.
Google Ads: search, shopping, Performance Max and YouTube
Search ads reach people at the moment they type what you sell. For most service businesses and B2B companies this is where we start, because the intent is already there.
Shopping ads show your products, prices and images in Google search results. We clean up your product feed first, because product titles and attributes help Google match your products to the right searches.
Performance Max runs across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Discover, Gmail and Maps from one campaign. It can work well once tracking is solid and the account has enough conversion data. We give it strong assets and clear goals, then watch where the budget goes.
YouTube ads suit products that need showing and audiences you want to reach before they start searching. We judge them on the visits and sales that follow, alongside views.
Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok ads
Meta covers Facebook and Instagram. It is strong for online stores and local offers, because you can reach people by interest and by how closely they match your existing customers. Creative matters most here, so we test new images, video and hooks often.
LinkedIn lets you target by job title, company size and industry. It often costs more per click than Google or Meta, so we use it for B2B offers where one new customer is worth a lot: demos, trials and consultations.
TikTok reaches buyers through short video that looks native to the feed. We use it when your audience is there and you can supply or approve fresh video regularly.
We recommend only the platforms where your buyers are, rather than spreading one budget across all four.
How we judge an ad account
Clicks are easy to buy. We judge an account on leads and sales: cost per lead, cost per acquisition and, for online stores, return on ad spend and profit per order.
For lead generation, we also look at lead quality. If a campaign brings in cheap leads that never become customers, it loses budget. Where your CRM allows it, we feed closed deals back into the ad platforms so they learn which leads matter.
These numbers are agreed in your plan before launch, so you always know what we are being judged on.
Who owns the ad accounts
You do. Your Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok accounts, your pixels and your analytics stay in your name, and we work through access you grant. If you already have accounts, we keep their history. If you need new ones, we set them up in your name.
If we ever stop working together, you remove our access and keep everything: the campaigns, the data and the audiences we built.
Pricing: management fee and ad spend
There are two separate costs. Your ad spend is paid straight to Google, Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok from your own accounts. Our management fee is paid to Octaneo for running them.
We work with a minimum ad budget of 2,000 USD per month, separate from the management fee. Below that, there is too little data to test and improve campaigns properly.
We don't sell fixed packages yet. After the free audit we send a written plan, and the price for the work is in it.
What you get each month
- A plain-English report on spend, leads, sales and cost per result
- New ad copy and creative tested against the current best ads
- Budget moved between campaigns and platforms based on results
- Search term reviews and new negative keywords
- Tracking checks so every lead and sale is still counted
Who it is for
PPC for local and small businesses
Google search ads aimed at the towns you serve, often with call ads and a Google Business Profile linked in. We keep the account simple, so you can see where every dollar goes and which ads make the phone ring.
PPC for startups and SaaS
Search campaigns for your category and competitor terms, plus LinkedIn campaigns aimed at the job titles that buy. Everything is measured against demos and trials, and later against the deals they turn into.
PPC for online stores
Shopping and Performance Max on Google, prospecting and retargeting on Meta, and TikTok where your buyers spend time. Campaigns are judged on profit per order rather than revenue alone.
